ABOUT US...
The Kingston School of Art, a non-profit charitable organization, was formed when
St. Lawrence College closed its Fine Arts Program in 1994.
Teachers and students of the program collaborated with the arts community to raise funds
to purchase the printmaking equipment from the college and keep valuable,
community oriented art courses in the Kingston area.
Governed by a community based volunteer Board of Directors, the School is totally self-sufficient. Fundraising, Membership fees, student fees and donations are the School's major supports.
People involved in the School do so because they recognize the importance of art and believe
that fine arts programming should be available to the Kingston community.
Volunteers are always welcome!
