Mondays, Sep. 22-Dec. 1 • 5:30 pm-8:30 pm • No Class Oct. 13
• $215 non-members / $205 members (10 wks)

Each week students may elect to work en plein air (at agreed upon locations/weather permitting) or in studio. Working from life or photos, studies will include the uses and methods of colour mixing and application; developing differences in brush work; understanding elements in composition; applying traditional and innovative watercolour techniques. Nancy brings her philosophy and enthusiasm to all her classes, "I like to render the moments-of-things-happening when they are happening! As I work, I seek to bring skills, practice and patience to the challenge of capturing the visual excitement before me, like the light dancing on objects. Objects enriched by the relationship of colours; shapes formed by the interplay of values and infused with the symbolism of life." Materials will be discussed on the first day of class; bring what you have. If you are a novice to watercolour and have no supplies, please see the Novice Supplies List.
