Our Instructors
Our instructors are both people with a teaching degree and/or professional artists working locally with a passion for their craft. All are eager to share knowledge and inspire students - hobbyists or young people working towards a future in the arts and others. Instructor positions are contracted between the KSOA and the instructor. Student feedback is taken into consideration at the time of contract renewal. To find out more about our instructors go to their websites (or click below) to view samples and read their biographies.
Instructors of the KSOA are selected for their quality
artwork and their exciting course proposals. If you would like to offer a
workshop or course at the Kingston School of Art, send us the following by
email (ksoa@kingston.net) with the subject, "Instructors Resume".
• Resume (and/or bio)
• 3 jpg (500 pxls) examples of work &/or website
address
• a short description of your proposed class
Prospective instructors
offering a children's program will be required to bring an original CPIC form
before the course begins (CPIC is a police background check - apply at your
local police department) The KSOA will keep a copy on file; the original is
returned to the prospective instructor. If mailing or dropping
off 3 photos (not slides) of art; please mark envelope with: "Instructors

been reviewed you may be asked by our hiring committee to come in for an
