Plein Air
Tuesdays, 11:30-2:30 pm
Classes run: May 19 - June 16
(5 sessions, 15 hours of instruction at 15/hr!)
We take advantage of the wonderful grounds of Providence Village to paint outside. There we capture the changing planes of colours, leading directional lines, voluminous forms of natural objects, and the changing light patterns of values, chromas and local colours. We discuss possible plein air kits on the first day and wrap up with several alla prima (all at once) paintings by the last class. All levels of creators are welcomed.
