Drawing Foundations

Through this drawing course, you will develop a sturdy foundation in your drawing skills. You will learn about the 7 elements of art, the mindset of a drawer, and level up your powers of observation. This is a course for anyone who wants to improve their drawing capabilities. From the beginner who has never drawn a line, to the artist who needs a refresher.


Saturdays, 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM


First Class: Saturday, September 14, 2024


Last Class: Saturday, October 5, 2024


Teaching Artist: Bonnie Humber


Skill Level: Beginner


Location: Back Studio | 647 Princess Street, Unit 101, Kingston, ON, K7L 1E4


Required age: Over 16 years old on the day of the activity


Notes: Students are asked to bring: a sketchbook, assorted drawing pencils, an eraser, exacto knife (pencil sharpener is another option, but less effective)
