Learn about one of the more forgotten tools in painting: the palette knife. Unlike common belief, the palette knife, or the artist’s knife, can be used for more than just mixing colours, and even replace the brush.


Compare the different tools used in oil painting, and experiment to find your style of painting. Open to all skill levels!

  • Oil paints 
  • 1-2 palette knifes
  • 1-2 brushes
  • Canvas paper or canvas 
  • Paper towels
