Come and join us Thursday afternoons to learn or develop your skills in this wonderfully expressive, versatile and playful medium. Like Thursday mornings, it's a welcoming 'open studio' environment, assistance being offered as needed in tackling those colour, composition and technical challenges. The watercolour medium is greatly enhanced by taking the time to plan the approach you think will best express your artistic intentions or vision for the subject, whether 'fast and loose' or more carefully descriptive; therefore we'll always encourage you to consider a range of possibilities and available techniques.
This class welcomes all skill levels, and our regulars – the 'old pros' – I've found are always happy to share their experience while on their own pathway to discovery. If you are a complete beginner or want to refresh your basic technical skills, check out our Tuesday afternoon class.
