All local artists aged 18 years and over from the City of Kingston, Wolfe Island and the Frontenac Islands, and the counties of Frontenac, Lennox & Addington, Leeds & Grenville and Hastings are invited to participate in this exciting event.
This year's exhibition will showcase up to 65 artworks by local artists and will be held at the Window Art Gallery.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Entry is open to residents, aged 18 years+, of the City of Kingston, Wolfe Island and the Frontenac Islands and the counties of Frontenac, Lennox & Addington, Leeds & Grenville, and Hastings.
- Current Board Members, staff and regular instructors (within the last 6 months) of KSOA and the organizing committee members are not eligible to enter.
- Participants may enter up to three works. Work in all two-dimensional media will be accepted, except photography.
- Only original works may be submitted. Copies of art by any other visual artist, in any medium, or classroom work which has been demonstrated on by instructors, will not be allowed. All submitted pieces must have been created within 24 months of the start of the exhibition. Award winning pieces from previous editions of the Juried Exhibition and Sale are not eligible for entry.
- Due to space limitations, no side is to be longer than 40" including the frame.
- All work submitted must be ready to hang using “D” rings and taut wire placed not more than 1/3 from the top of the frame. No zigzag hangers, saw hooks or screw eyes are allowed. No IKEA frames or equivalent. ONLY gallery style canvases or panels, not less than 1 ½” deep, are acceptable without a frame.
- Multiple panel works such as diptychs, triptychs or groupings must be framed together or secured to hang as one piece or the individual parts will be considered separate entries. The overall size must meet the stated size requirements.
- Each work must be labelled on the back using the official tags or with equivalent information.
- All entries must be for sale. All sales will be processed by the WAG gallery. A commission of 20% of the price listed by the artist will be retained by the gallery. Accepted artwork will remain hanging until the end of the show even when sold.
- The Jurors’ decisions are final and will be based on artistic merit. The Juried Exhibition organizing committee and the Jurors reserve the right to decline any work deemed inappropriate.

Through the creation of an inclusive and supportive environment, KSOA art space encourages artistic individuality and innovation, as well as cultivates an appreciation of the arts within the greater community. The Kingston School of Art is governed by a local volunteer Board and is run primarily by volunteers.

HOW TO REGISTER

- Pay the registration fee through Amilia.
- Print, complete and sign the Artist's Agreement. You will need to hand this in when you bring in your work.
- Print, complete, and affix to the back of your work the Official Labels.
- In-Person:
- Print off and complete the printable Registration Form and bring it with your payment to Kingston School of Art. We accept cash, cheques, and credit cards. Registration Forms will also be available at the KSOA.
- Print, complete and sign the Artist's Agreement. You will need to hand this in when you bring in your work.
- Print, complete, and affix to the back of your work the Official Labels.
- By Mail:

IMPORTANT DATES

- Notification of Acceptance: 3 October.
- Collection of Declined Artworks: 4 October from 9am to 12pm and 5 October from 2pm - 7pm.
- Exhibition Opens: 8 October.
- Opening Reception: 8 October from 12pm - 4pm.
- Collection of Artworks: 30 October 30 from 12pm - 4pm and 31 October 9am - 12pm.
