When: Mondays - Fridays (Programs Run for 90 Minutes)
Audience: Recommended for Grades 1 - 12
Dive into the colourful world of printmaking! This program features a mini-lesson about the history of printmaking and different forms of this versatile medium. Students will create their own unique prints using styrofoam and then collaboratively design a class banner, using each individual design. This program is centred around themes of community, kinship, and care.
Recommended for Grades 1 - 12
Together we’ll listen to the unheard, peripheral voices so often featured in zines! This program features a mini-lesson about the history of zines and key examples of this versatile medium. Students will create their own zines using collage materials. This program is centered around themes of social justice, community care, and alternative methods of production.
