Watercolour Partner Portraits
with Yume Wu Join Teaching Artist Yume Wu in this twist on the popular Partner Painting Challenge using watercolours, and whatever relationship in your life you’d like to commemorate in an art piece! This workshop is all about celebrating the important people in your life, spending time together and making art! Bring your favourite person with you for a fun Sunday afternoon, or bring a photo reference of the person you’d love to capture in paint. Colour Explosion! Play with Watercolour & Ink - A Family Event!
with Maevis Morgan Join Teaching Artist Maevis Morgan in this family event that encourages family (blood-related or found!) to create together using watercolours and ink as the main art mediums. Collaborate to have a family masterpiece, or work side-by-side and just enjoy each other’s company as you explore and play with art! Sunday 16 June | 1-3pm All Ages $70 per family (up to 4 people: additional people are by donation) Please note: children under the age of 12 must have a minimum of 1 adult (16+) with them throughout the activity due to the nature of the event. Price covers up to 4 admissions into the program; additional family members can be paid for by donation at the arrival of the event. |
Drag Queen Storytime
with Gila Munster Join the fabulous Gila Munster in this special WAG-edition Drag Queen story time! Gila will lead participants through stories about Pride and self-love, combined with songs and an accompanying dance party. Children of all ages will love participating in this story time extravaganza! Please note: this is not a drop-off program; parents and caregivers are expected and welcome to stay for the fun! Drag Character Workshop
with Gila Munster Join Drag Artist and Queen extraordinaire, Gila Munster, in this celebration of drag - just for teens! Gila will guide the drag royalty in training through exercises to bring out your inner queen (or king!) so you can leave with your drag persona ready to slay. Please note: costumes and make-up not provided. Registrants are not required to provide these to participate, but are welcome to bring them if they would like. "Don't Be a Drag, Be a Queen!" Artist Talk
with Gila Munster Join drag queen Gila Munster for this enlightening artist talk about drag culture and community. Gila will lead you through the origin of drag, its current landscape, and what it means to them in terms of community and activism. Workshop Refund Policy
- Full refunds are available if the school cancels the workshop.
- Cancellations by the student made at least a week before the workshop starts will be given a 100% refund, minus a $20 admin fee.
- Cancellations made between 3 and 7 days before the workshop starts will be given an 80% refund minus the $20 admin fee.
